This is the ideal course for Android and iPhone users who want to improve their picture-taking skills. We will review basic photography and smartphone photography principles as well as hands-on post processing some of your favorite pictures with the FREE Snapseed editing app. *Students are encouraged to download the FREE Snapseed app prior to class.

Spanish for the Elementary Years - Grades K-5 - Errick Road Elementary School - Winter

Get a head start on the language by joining The Enrichment Company, for an educationally oriented curriculum that is specifically designed for the K-5 student to learn the Spanish language.  This unique and exciting program features foundation vocabulary introduced through games, singing, and fun activities!  Students are able to compound words and begin forming simple sentences.  Early introduction increases the student's ability to absorb rather than translate language. Babysitter Training Course for Children - American Red Cross

Designed primarily for youth ages 11 and older, this five-hour course will prepare students to be better babysitters.  Topics include how to provide care for infants and children; how to stay safe; what to do in an emergency; how to choose age-appropriate activities; and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors.  Students will learn the basics of starting a babysitting business.  The course consists of six interactive modules featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business.  Students who successfully complete the course will receive a printable Amerian Red Cross certificate.  Please bring a bagged lunch and/or snacks and a filled water bottle.  If your child is sensitive to the sight or discussion of blood, please inform the instructor. 

Sewing - You Can Sew in Six Weeks - Intermediate Class

This course continues from where the Beginner Class left off.  During this six-session course students will learn how to sew zippers, buttonholes, and various hand sewing stitches.  Additionally, students will learn to use facings, interfacings and sewing darts.
