Basics of Acrylic Painting - Session I
with Loretto Thompson
In this six-week class students will gain a direction and basic understanding of the acrylic paint medium as well as the elementary principles of color, composition, perspective, contrast, focal point, and texture. Using only primary colors and white (four total colors), students will learn to mix their own colors with the help of a color wheel. In addition, students will learn how to identify the core components in a picture, how to break their painting into sections, and ultimately complete their own masterpiece by the end of the course.

We are here to help each other or just hang out. *Register for all the meetings, or one or a few. Registration is required and will be accepted before and after the initial meeting.
Knitting for Beginners

This three-week beginners knitting class is for those who have never held knitting needles, but if you have and want a refresher we welcome you as well. You will learn the basics from casting on, the different stitches, and how to cast off from the knitting needles. Everything will be supplied for you to get started.

Learn to make lovely earrings using duo beads and seed beads. These earrings will make a statement everywhere you wear them! Beginners and experienced beaders can enjoy making these unique earrings!

Mosaic Picture Frame

Join in on a fun two evenings creating your own mosaic picture frame. The first evening registrants will place the tiles on their frames and complete their frame on the second evening. Participants will grout the tiles and bring home their completed mosaic picture frame!
Stained Glass for Beginners
with Linda Leggett
Linda Leggett, talented artist and owner of Honeynutt Glass, will lead registrants in the creation of a beautiful suncatcher. Pieces will all be cut out and ground and you will learn to foil and solder them together! Registrants can choose from approximately 50 pre-cut suncatchers. We supply everything you need to make your suncatcher so you can focus on your creativity!
Embroidered Pendant - Monogrammed
with Venus Snyder
Learn to make unique embroidery and then take that another step further and turn it into beautiful, wearable jewelry! This class is perfect for beginners. All supplies are provided.
Butter Lamb - Make Your Own

Join in on a fun evening with the artists from Celtic Nature Studio and carve your own butter lamb! Participants will learn the history and significance of the butter lamb, develop basic carving techniques, and create their own unique butter lamb to take home! All supplies including decorations will be provided.
