Craft Your Family Tree

with JoAnn Thoman

Calendar Nov 9, 2022 at 6 pm

Join JoAnn from ElmRose Creations for two evenings of wood crafting.  Decorate your family tree and pick a design for the names you want on your tree.  The first evening you will paint the leaves, tree, grass of your family tree to your liking.  The design will be cut out through tack tape so you can peel off where you would like to paint.  The designs will be engraved between classes.  The second evening you will be gluing on your designs and placing a hanger on the back.  The family tree will be engraved on an approximate 14" diameter piece of wood. After registering, please email JoAnn @ with your choice of design of a heart, leaf, bird, or acorn.  If you would like to add your cat or dog, let me know how many dog bones or cat paws you would like as well.  Once completed, you will be able to take your craft home and proudly display it or gift it!  My family tree shown is all in natural wood.  You will be able to paint your family tree and designs to your liking!

Snowman Craft

Calendar Dec 7, 2022 at 6 pm

It's that time of year when you need to get out of the house and do something with your hands.  Join JoAnn from ElmRose Creations to make a snowman/woman out of wood.  You will pick designs for your snowman, paint them, and then glue them onto your snowman.  The base will be two pieces of wood that will be painted white on both sides.  You will pick items you want to put on your snowman such as eyes, nose, scarf, buttons, hat (all cut out of wood) and then paint them.  Once dried, you will assemble the base together and glue on the painted designs.  Your project is ready to take home and place where you desire or give as a gift!  Approximate size of snowman/woman will be 7-9 inches.
