Driver's Ed: 5-Hour Course

The 5-hour course is a DMV approved program that all new drivers MUST take before earning their license. Taught by John Cordaro, owner of Cordaro Driving School, this fun and engaging class will teach new drivers essential road safety, the laws that govern our roads, and important pre-driving instruction.

Class takes place every mondy at 5:30pm via Zoom!

In partnership with the Buffalo Astronomical Association (BAA), the NWCSD Community Education program is proud to present "The Beginner's Guide to "Looking Up!"

This three-part class is for those who want to discover basic and advanced methods for stargazing. From naked eye to binoculars to telescopes, BAA members will point you in the right direction and show you exactly where (and when) to look for the fantastic and amazing visuals our solar system has to offer. Learn about the movements and patterns of celestial bodies throughout the year, when significant astronomical events occur, and how you can appreciate them from your own back yard. At the end of the session, you will be able to see the sky in a different light.  

Class runs in order from basic, intermediate, and finally, advanced stargazing.
