Participants will create breads baked specifically for the Easter season:   La Paloma (Easter dove bread), in the shape of a dove with outstretched wings with a hard-boiled egg in its belly. Cuccidati (Sicilian fig cookies stuffed with figs, dates, spices, walnuts, and honey), frosting and multi-colored sprinkles, Serpentone (snake-shaped bread sold by nuns at Easter similar to cuccidati cookies with raisins for eyes), Sicilian braided egg bread, and colored eggs in braided dough shaped in a wreath, approximately 4 x 10 inches.  A list of ingredients will be supplied.  Please bring containers for your take-home goodies!
