Basics of Acrylic Painting - Session I

In this six-week class students will gain a direction and basic understanding of the acrylic paint medium as well as the elementary principles of color, composition, perspective, contrast, focal point, and texture.  Using only primary colors and white (four total colors), students will learn to mix their own colors with the help of a color wheel.  In addition, students will learn how to identify the core components in a picture, how to break their painting into sections, and ultimately complete their own masterpiece by the end of the course.

Join Chief Flight Instructor Norm Utech, of Falcon Aviation Flight School and team for classes in the study of aviation fundamentals including principles of flight, aircraft and engine operations, weather, navigation and radio communication as required by FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) regulations. This course will prepare the student to take the FAA Private Pilot Airplane Certificate written and oral exams.

Italian Language for Beginners

Larry will address your questions and concerns regarding your upcoming or dreamed-of trip to Italy. He will make suggestions on how to avoid the many aggravations inherit in European travel as well as how to travel cheaply. The pros and cons of touring alone or joining a tour, personal security, packing, weather, itinerary, transportation, handling money, accommodations, health, language, understanding local customs, and more will be discussed.
