Yoga for Beginners

Join Kathy Noakes, AFAA Certified Group Fitness certified, owner of Brave Life Yoga, RYT 200 hours with Yoga Alliance, for a four-week, slower-paced class focusing on breath and form, and learning poses from the ground up. This class will be slow, stretchy, and mindful.
*Students need to bring a yoga mat, blanket, as well as blocks and strap, if you have them. Blocks can be provided.

Latin Aerobics is a low-impact, cardiovascular workout enjoyed while learning Latin-style dance moves. Students will get a good cardio workout without abusing their body and have fun learning dance moves set to Latin-style music. If you love to move, you will love this workout!

Total Body Stretch

You will stretch your entire body from head to toe while using proper spinal alignment. This six-week course is designed to make you feel like you just got a massage! Proper stretching will keep all your muscles and joints moving freely without pain or discomfort and also help with injury prevention.

Nancy will cover basic computer skills for all computer users on all devices as follows: turning the darn thing on, connecting to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, video calling, accounts, passwords, the cloud, signing in and signing out, email, downloading PDF files, clicking (following) a link, copy and pasting verification codes, scanning QR codes, calendar and maps, texting and taking "selfies", pictures. Learning to use your devices properly will help to make your life easier and give you more time to just enjoy living! *Bring your smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Afterschool Abstract Artist Series - Piet Mondrian - Grades K-5
Students will be introduced to the works of Piet Mondrian, a Dutch artist who enjoyed painting realistic scenes, particularly trees. Mondrian developed into an abstract artist most noteable for paintings representing squares and rectangles. Students will use their creativity skills to create Broadway Boogie art based on the technique of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian. As a learning reinforcement, the class will close with "Piet Mondrian BINGO".
