Join Chief Flight Instructor Norm Utech, of Falcon Aviation Flight School and team for classes in the study of aviation fundamentals including principles of flight, aircraft and engine operations, weather, navigation and radio communication as required by FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) regulations. This course will prepare the student to take the FAA Private Pilot Airplane Certificate written and oral exams.

Italian Language for Beginners

Italian language for beginners will cover grammar, conjugation, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, formal vs. informal, time, numbers, and etiquette. Students will form simple phrases by the end of the first class. In six weeks, students will learn all three conjugations of present indicative.

Smartphone Essentials - Funded Specifically for Residents Within the Niagara Wheatfield Central School District
with Nancy Wise-Reid

Nancy Wise-Reid, owner of WiseClasses, will cover essential smartphone skills such as gestures, notifications, settings, your account, useful apps and how to find/use/move them in this three-session series.* Students will practice texting, taking and attaching a selfie, saving a picture, adding new contacts, adding calendar events and learn how to give vocal prompts to provide desired information. Bring your Androids or iPhones and your questions!
**Registration is required for March 16, March 23, and March 30. Attendance is mandatory as space is limited.

Marilyn Schlehr, RN has been teaching First Aid/CPR/AED courses for over 10 years to staff, coaches, nurses, and various community members. She has hands-on real life experience with these skills and enjoys working with others so they have the knowledge and skills needed to feel confident in an emergency situation. Reviewing scenarios in class is an important part of her technique in order to keep individuals interested and engaged. Marilyn looks forward to seeing you and helping you obtain your American Red Cross certification! *See separate registration to complete the course without certification.
*Online portion to be completed via email link PRIOR to attending the review/skills session on April 1, 2023. The skills session with review will last 2-3 hours depending on class size.
