Smartphone Photography

The advancement of smartphone technology has virtually replaced the point and shoot camera. The smartphone has the capabilities of producing beautiful quality photographs. This is the ideal course for Android and iPhone users who want to improve their picture-taking skills. We will review basic photography and smartphone photography principles as well as hands-on post processing some of your favorite pictures with the FREE Snapseed editing app. *Students are encouraged to download the FREE Snapseed app prior to class.
Stained Glass for Beginners

Linda Leggett, talented artist and owner of Honeynutt Glass, will lead registrants in the creation of a beautiful suncatcher. Pieces will all be cut out and ground and you will learn to foil and solder them together! Registrants can choose from approximately 50 pre-cut suncatchers. We supply everything you need to make your suncatcher so you can focus on your creativity!

Buffalo Suncatcher

Join in on a fun evening and create your own buffalo suncatcher. Your beautiful buffalo suncatcher will be made using crushed glass. All supplies will be provided.
Focaccia, Stromboili and Calzones- Oh, My! (Online)

What makes a Focaccia a Focaccia, a Stromboli a Stromboli, and a Calzone a Calzone? How are they different? How are they the same? Discover the answer to these questions as you participate in this fun-filled cook-along class as we dive ito the world of unique rolled (Stromboli), and stuffed pizzas (Calzones), and marvelous Focaccia bread! Two different homemade doughs will be created as well as an out-of-this-world pizza sauce!
Participants will receive login information as well as a list of ingredients 5-7 days prior to class start date to allow for shopping and prep. A professionally created PDF packet of the instructor's personal recipe as well as an invitation to join Tess's private and public Facebook group will be issued.
*One registration fee can include ADULT participants from the same household only.
*Refunds will not be given after materials are sent out.
Learn solo, with your significant other, or spouse and make lasting memories in your kitchen learning to make these amazing meals. While cooking-along is loads of fun, it is optional. Have your questions answered by the instructor and interact with other participants and support each other during this fun and informative two-hour virtual class!
*Equipment needed: 9 x 13 non-stick baking pan or a larger sheet pan for the Focaccia bread, as well as additional sheet pans for the Stromboli and Calzones. A stand mixer is highly recommended in order to be able to make both doughs during the class.
Babysitter Training Course for Children - American Red Cross

Designed primarily for youth ages 10-16 years. This five-hour course will prepare students for the "business of babysitting". Topics include how to provide care for infants and children; how to stay safe; fire/water safety; diaper changing, bottle feeding; what to do in an emergency; how to choose age-appropriate activities; and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors. Students will learn the basics of starting a babysitting business. The course consists of six interactive modules featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a printable American Red Cross certificate. *Please bring a bagged lunch and/or snacks and a filled water bottle. *If your child is sensitive to the sight or discussion of blood, please inform the instructor.
