Babysitter Training Course for Children - American Red Cross

Designed primarily for youth ages 10-15 years. This five-hour course will prepare students for the "business of babysitting". Topics include how to provide care for infants and children; how to stay safe; fire/water safety; diaper changing, bottle feeding; what to do in an emergency; how to choose age-appropriate activities; and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors. Students will learn the basics of starting a babysitting business. The course consists of six interactive modules featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a printable American Red Cross certificate. *Please bring a bagged lunch and/or snacks and a filled water bottle. *If your child is sensitive to the sight or discussion of blood, please inform the instructor.
Sewing - You Can Sew in Six Weeks!

NOW a THREE-HOUR CLASS! In this course students will learn the basics of sewing. Students will learn how to choose the correct pattern size and fabric to layout, cutting, marking and sewing. By the end of the six weeks students will complete their chosen creation! Returning students will pick up where they left off in their previous class or sign up for the Intermediate class. Bring your own machine or use one of ours.

Soups & Bread Bowls: Marry Me Chicken Soup & Chicken Pot Pie Soup & Homemade Bread Bowls

Join this chef-led, hands-on cook-along experience and create two comforting soups—Marry Me Chicken soup and Chicken pot pie soup—along with homemade Italian bread bowls. Recipes will be taught for both multi-cooker, and stovetop. This warm, interactive experience bringing delicious warm comfort to your table. Electric multi-cooker, heavy bottom soup pot, stand mixer and dough hook are suggested. Dough can be made by hand.
