Basics of Acrylic Painting - Session I

In this six-week class students will gain a direction and basic understanding of the acrylic paint medium as well as the elementary principles of color, composition, perspective, contrast, focal point, and texture.  Using only primary colors and white (four total colors), students will learn to mix their own colors with the help of a color wheel.  In addition, students will learn how to identify the core components in a picture, how to break their painting into sections, and ultimately complete their own masterpiece by the end of the course.

American Red Cross: Adult CPR and AED

This class helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac and breathing emergencies (including choking) in ADULTS ONLY.  A two-year certification will be issued after completion.  

Babysitter Training Course for Children - American Red Cross

Calendar Feb 7, 2026 at 9 am

Designed primarily for youth ages 10-15 years.  This five-hour course will prepare students for the "business of babysitting".   Topics include how to provide care for infants and children; how to stay safe; fire/water safety; diaper changing, bottle feeding; what to do in an emergency; how to choose age-appropriate activities; and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors.  Students will learn the basics of starting a babysitting business.  The course consists of six interactive modules featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business.  Students who successfully complete the course will receive a printable American Red Cross certificate.  *Please bring a bagged lunch and/or snacks and a filled water bottle.  *If your child is sensitive to the sight or discussion of blood, please inform the instructor. 

Sewing - You Can Sew in Six Weeks!

Students will learn measurements, reading sewing patterns, choosing appropriate fabrics for their project, how to layout, marking, and cut patterns.  By the end of six weeks students will be able to work well with the sewing machine and complete a project!

Yoga Flow

Join Teresa on Saturday mornings for this six-session class!  This class moves at a slower pace and assumes basic knowledge of the flow. The learning curve is appropriate for novices to pick up and start a personal practice. Cultivate breath and movement while building stamina, flexibility, and strength. Leave revitalized and renewed!  All levels of experience are welcome.  *Bring yoga mat, hand towel, and water bottle.

Which Craft?

Join Tabitha and class for a social, crafting evening! Bring your own project and supplies.  Open to anyone who wants to craft and join in a lovely evening. Bring your own ideas and supplies.  We are here to help each other or just hang out.  *Register for all the meetings, or one or a few. Registration is required and will be accepted before and after the initial meeting.   

Country Line Dance - Intermediate/Advanced

Join Lisa Lariccia for a fun, six-week, 45-minute session. This class is for anyone who has knowledge of the basic steps used in most country line dances.  Class will move at a quick pace.  Participants will learn new dances and review dances previously taught. Students are to wear comfortable shoes that allow moving and gliding as opposed to sticking. *Bring a towel and water to stay hydrated.

Stretch - Total Body

Calendar Feb 10, 2026 at 7 pm, runs for 6 weeks

We will stretch our entire body from head to toe while using proper spinal alignment in a relaxing flow style. This 45 minute, six-week course is designed to make you feel like you just got a massage!  Proper stretching will keep all your muscles and joints moving freely without pain or discomfort and also help with injury prevention.  

*Bring a yoga mat, towel, and water.  Yoga or stretching blocks are helpful.
